A big congatulations to Tony Cordin owner and managing director of Heart and Soul health clubs who made the final top 30 in Maxs muscle up Challenge. We all think Tony should have got to number one for this competition and the only thing that we can think of is that he didn't look half bad to begin with :-)
We congratulate you Tony on your efforts. A true champion and inspiration to all of us.  People are doing 12 week body transformations over all of the clubs inspired by you courageously sharing your journey with us.
Tony has shown us through effort and discipline that you really can transform yourself to the best version of you in a short space of time if you make a decsion to do so and follow through with your exercise and nutrition.
If you are inspired to get started, have a read through the blog and videos for some ideas and inspiration or speak to one of our personal trainers to see if they can help you along the way.

This is my final blog for the Max’s Muscle up challenge 2012 and an opportunity to remember the ups and downs of the last 12 weeks.
I always watched Max’s Muscle TV because in my head I believed I was a gym guy even though I hadn’t strung 4 weeks of training together in the past 3 years. One episode I saw the ad for the 2012 challenge and I thought I would take on the challenge. 3 weeks later still not training but eating a bowl of ice cream I saw Tony advertising the final week for entries. Again in my head I was finding all the reasons why I couldn’t commit to the challenge. The next morning I looked in the mirror and there was a fat old miserable man looking back at me, where had I gone? The person inside had become a result of the lifestyle of inactivity, over stress, working too much and justifying bad decisions that put me on a slippery slope and there, in the mirror staring back at me was someone I didn’t recognise. As I looked down at my gut I was disgusted with what I looked like. With the decline in physical pride came the decline in self pride and I found myself in a place that was dark and negative. My focus was always on what was wrong with the world and finding fault in everything the way I unconsciously found fault in myself. The incremental downward slide was unnoticeable to me until the mirror of reality was placed before me. The price for this was too unobvious to me as I made excuses and justifications for the things in my life that were not working to the optimum, blaming everything other than taking responsibility for all that was mine.
Step 1 Make the decision with emotion.
I will not feel like this for 1 more day. I had had enough of being disgusting.
Step 2 Find the leverage.
I publicly committed to the completion of the challenge and put it out there for all to see and started a blog for all of my clients to follow my journey. The best thing about this action for me was it gave me no reverse gear to get out.
Step 3 Formulate a massive action plan.
I left nothing to chance.
As with all plans there needs to be flexibility as life, in its nature, will throw you the test to see how badly you want it. For me the challenges come from many angles and sometimes all at once but I used all of this to be better at my game. If I had to be away from home for extended periods I planned to the hour and used the training in different locations to improve my creativity in programming. There is a solution to every problem if you are prepared to look hard enough.
After reading blogs of other challengers’ we all seem to of had adversity and for those of you who finished even though you were sick or injured and had battles in life just by pushing through the resistance you are a winner and I congratulate everyone who finished.
Looking back it has been fun. I have rediscovered life and I am taking it head on.
Today I am proud, proud of what I have done with discipline and determination I have refired my love of life and I have created the ultimate physique and I hope that I have helped and inspired others along the way.
I started at 26% body fat and after 12 weeks of self discipline I am now at 9%. I have increased my lean muscle with 5cm on my chest, 2 cm on my arms, 3 cm on my legs and lost 12 cm from my waist and 8cm from my hips as well as increased my fitness. I have new habits that the only side effect is to get leaner fitter and stronger. I turned 41 years young halfway through the challenge and feel younger than ever. I have a new lease on life and I will continue on this journey and start to compete on the stage.
A wise man once said “Look after your body for the first 50 years and it will look after you for the next 50 years”.
It is with great gratitude that I thank my loving partner Lisa who without her I would not be the man I am today. She is my rock, my best friend and my love and my production team, Thanks Baby X.
Thanks to Max’s for being so proactive in the betterment of the Australian people, with their running of this challenge 100’s of people have improved the quality of their lives and they will in turn go on to improve the quality of the lives of others and their tireless dedication to delivering the best sports supplementation available. Without the advanced technology of Max’s Supplements there is no way I would have achieved the results I have. Max’s Supplements make an amateur a pro.
To all of the Challengers I thank you for making me better. With your diligence to your blogs and pictures it kept me competitive and I wish you all the best.
Without this transformation I don’t know where I would have ended up and my new life is the prize for me, but if you think I should be in the top 10 then please place your votes.
I hope to see you all at the Top

Tony Cordin.
