Frequently asked questions

What hours will the club be staffed?
8am-12pm and 3pm-7pm Monday to Fridays 9am-12pm Saturdays

Where is the data of my fingerprint stored? – The actual fingerprint data is not stored on a computer it is held in the scanning device. The print that is stored is then allocated a user ID number. The print equates with this number only and not your personal details.
What happens to my information if I am no longer a member? – Your personal details and information will be deleted from our database system upon cancellation. The fingerprint scan will be deleted from the scanning device.
What will my information be used for? – Your fingerprint will only be used to open the door to the club. Your personal email and information will only be used should Heart and Soul need to contact you in regards to your account, membership or to inform you of any changes occurring in the club.
Why do I need to have a fingerprint? – Our new 24 hour access
operates so that you can use our facility at any time. It requires something to identify a member in order to unlock the door. We have chosen a biometric (fingerprint) scanner as the most secure method rather than a card swipe or password system that can be easily misused.
Why do I need to have a photograph? This is for the safety of
you and the other members to ensure that only members are entering the club at any time. In the event of any incident it will allow us to identify all parties involved.
Can I gain access to the club in staffed hours without scanning my fingerprint? Whilst the club is staffed you will not need to
fingerprint to gain access. All members at all times must scan to gain entry.
Can I bring a non-member to the club out of staffed hours? We invite you to bring non-members along, we do however require them to
go into the club during staffed hours at a casual rate.
